Wooley's LINQ Wonderings

Insights and observations regarding LINQ

LINQ articles on MSDN2

When the previous LINQ CTP's were released, it was relatively easy to find the documentation. As LINQ is being "productized" into Orcas, finding the appropriate overview documentation has become much more difficult. While researching something for our Linq in Action book, I happened upon 5 documents on MSDN2 which represent the documentation from the previous CTP's. I scanned over the documentation and there are a number of issues in the documentation, which is understandable considering the moving target. I do find it interesting that they leverage some language features not yet available in the current CTP, most notabily VB's anonymous functions which will equate to the C# lambda expression.

I'm putting the links here so that I can find them easier the next time. I hope it helps you as well. I hope the links aren't broken as the documents are updated moving forward.
