I went to the bookshop and almost bought Linq In Action.

I happened to look at the TOC and found that the most important Linq to Entities is not covered in this book.

I hope you guys add this section to the book and have a Second or Third edition out soon.

Meanwhile I will hunt for a book that covers EDM and Linq!

As explained in the book, EDM and LINQ to Entities pertain to the ADO.NET Entity Framework product. This product was not ready at the time the LINQ in Action was published and more importantly, it deserves a separate and complete book.

LINQ is much more than LINQ to Entities, and the Entity Framework is much more than LINQ to Entities. To be able to use LINQ to Entities, you need to master LINQ first. This is where LINQ in Action can help you.
