DBML: Linq to SQL Classes - runtime behaviour

Hi Rather than code all the classes for each table manually, it seems sensible to build these directly from the SQL Server's schema. I see in the VS 2008 IDE that one can simply do this by adding a "LINQ to SQL Classes" item and simply drag'n'drop the database tables that I'm interested in onto the designer and hey presto, all the code required for LINQ is created.
